This past weekend we traveled to Vermont for the wedding of my good friends Erin and Dana. You may recall shower pictures from a few weeks back! The wedding was in Grand Isle right outside Burlington on Lake Champlain. In preparation for the 4+ hour drive we picked up breakfast sandwiches to enjoy (quite carefully) on the road. I had never been to OhNo Cafe in Portland before but I had heard great things about it. I got the #6 which consisted of cucumber, tomato, spinach, onion (I opted out of the that) and cream cheese on a bialy. YUM! Great start to the trip!
We got to Burlington a couple hours before we could check in the the Lake House (the venue for the wedding where the bridal party and the family were all staying) so we walked around a bit and Ben (Sarah’s boyfriend/our Burlington tour guide) suggested we eat at Sweet Waters which offered a lovely outdoor dining area.
Good food and drinks! Now, off to the wedding!
Cool favors! Local organic soap and maple cotton candy 🙂 YUM!! (not the soap 😉 )
For dinner there was stations set up around the porch. Poached salmon with dill sauce was my favorite!
and cake pops too! Margarita and amaretto flavor! Delish! Dancing the night away followed 🙂 We had a great time! Congratulations Erin and Dana!!!
