If you haven’t tried a veggie dog yet, you must! Who doesn’t love hot dogs after all? These are MUCH better for you in terms of fat, calories, and cholesterol. As a helpful hint though- you really need to grill or pan fry these with cooking spray. Boiling them or cooking them microwave is not nearly as delicious as if you get them crispy (they are weird and floppy if you do). I prefer smart dogs found in the produce section next to the tofu.
A veggie filled lunch! Cukes and beans from farm share and heirloom tomatoes were picked up at Whole Foods today. Yum 🙂
